Amazon continues to topple the charts when it comes to earnings – their revenue is actually bigger than the 49 online stores that precede them!

Coming in a not-so-close second is Apple.com followed by the likes of Walmart, Target, Kohl’s and other big box retailers.

One question you might be asking here: How is only 70% of Amazon’s revenue acquired online?

With the purchase of physical retail shops such as Whole Foods Market, the physical retail space is showing to be a momentous growth category than anticipated in 2013. Also, their other businesses which include Amazon AWS servers, Amazon Credit Cards, and Twitch.tv (digital gaming) are quickly becoming big earners outside the traditional ecommerce space.

Please note that online competitors such as Ebay and Alibaba are not on the list.
